Our glory road

Our journey into the world of renewable energy began as Mirror Group Print. A printing house, as the name indicates. Founded in 2016, we achieved a turnover of half a million euros in 2020, helped by 18 employees.

And to be honest, anyone who would have told us a year ago that we would diversify our business would have been taken as a fool at best. We love what we do, and we are happy to see that we can deliver quality prints to high standards and that we are involved in this industry.

But the evolution of the European energy market had other plans for us. I knew them the day we received our energy bill for December 2021. That was when it became obvious that our business could no longer perform at the costs proposed by traditional electricity suppliers. I needed a fast and safe solution. With the notoriously long waiting time, applying for European funds was impossible. We reached deep into our pockets and installed the panels ourselves, gave to the Government the chance to help us another time.

Our evolution

The end of January 2022 found us with mixed feelings. Happy because we succeeded in installing the photovoltaic panels, and all the engineering commissioning was ready from a technical point of view. We moved surprisingly well! But for what? The bureaucracy still hadn’t recovered from the winter holidays. The statutory commissioning period of 10 days only worked on paper. Which led us to mobilize like we hadn’t had to do anything else. A month of phone calls, e-mails, and visits followed, supplemented by phone calls, e-mails and visits. As a reward for our perseverance, with a delay of only one month, a team from Distribuție Oltenia installed our meter on February 23, 2022. The next day the inverter was switched on, giving us the status of prosumer, cheap energy, and most importantly, a new hope for our primary business.

In the context in which all the above adventures turned into a valuable experience, we decided to extend a helping hand to those interested in the benefits of renewable energy production plants. To fulfil this objective, we created www.energiepentrutoti.ro

Observing that the idea is successful among the population, we separated the activity of the printing house from that of the platform and created ECITIM PORTAL SA. The changes in the operational structure were necessary due to the desire to create a dedicated entity to focus with maximum attention on the ambitious project that we will outline briefly below.

In this logic, we offer our partners the opportunity to purchase shares, making the decision-making process more transparent and efficient. The degree of trust in this company will increase both on the market and among investors.
